I'm (im)patiently waiting for my brain to adjust to a recent vision issue that is impacting my ability to read, but my eye doctor assures me that my brain will learn to see through these squiggly black lines at some point. Soon, I hope! Despite that, I read over 100 picture books and chose the best 11 to share with you, and 15 chapter books/early readers so I could share my top 6. Both lists are below. (Yes, this is written on a new test site to see if I can thwart Google.) Thanksgiving Books (Ages 4 - 12)It's time to pull out Thanksgiving books for kids that share the early history of the United States, gratitude, and holiday traditions. Dragon Books (Ages 4 - 12)I love a good dragon book, and here are 65 for all ages that I've read and highly recommend. Zombie Books (Ages 7 - 12)One last Halloween-ish book list --here's a list of good zombie books for kids ages 6 – 13 that are funny, even kooky, and not too scary.
